Builds and directs the training and development needs of the Insulet International Sales Team. Responsible for coordination and management of all field and customer service related educational functions.
Research and develop training solutions, identify opportunities and issues, and implement solutions and strategies to resolve/decrease barriers to field training on an individual and regional basis.
Work cooperatively with the Commercial team (Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Customer Care, and Reimbursement) to provide cross-functional training and development programs for employees.
Work with Field Management Team to ensure effective initial training of new field-based employees.
Conduct field reviews to ensure adequate and consistent training and coaching is being done for all new field employees.
Direct all aspects of field training of Insulet employees.
Coordinate all field training communication within Commercial team.
Develop and implement training and development objectives and programs.
Manage reporting requirements necessary to support training and development of employees.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years of diabetes sales and/or management experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Related business experience working with Healthcare Professionals.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in field-based training programs.
Must demonstrate strong leadership, coaching and development skills.
Able to work effectively in a key cross-functional role within Insulet.
