Position Summary

The EU digital product manager role is responsible for developing, leading and implementing the Digital marketing strategy for the Omnipod brand across current European markets. A key objective of the role will be to develop and implement the short and long-term strategy to stand-up the European business short-term and deliver on the longer-term strategy to ensure consistent topline growth. The Digital Product Manager is responsible for establishing the Insulet and Omnipod brand within HCP and patient communities by developing and leveraging the company's digital communications platforms. This individual leads the creation of digital content strategies and campaigns designed to increase brand loyalty and achieve revenue objectives for Insulet.


  • Ownership of the company’s digital platforms to ensure their day-to-day management and functioning. Deliver online campaigns using email, lead nurturing, content creation, social, paid ads.
  • Create, update and integrate content, modifying text, images, multimedia, etc., for all platforms, including websites, social media, mobile apps, etc.
  • Drive longer-term projects such as website redesigns, mobile app creations, e-learning platforms and search optimization.
  • Deliver the digital strategy and incorporate the needs of the Country/Region requirements in EU
  • Champion best practices for digital marketing throughout the company. Promote understanding and cooperation around all related digital projects.
  • Identify needs, create a plan and processes to implement a solution with cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with external providers to ensure clear transmission of needs for campaigns and projects.
  • Create functional specs, testing, validation and evaluation of deliverables, and deployment of changes. Ensure regular communication to all stakeholders both internal and external, including the product marketing team, local partners and regulatory teams.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of all platforms at all times (bug resolution, testing, compatibility with different browsers and devices, security updates). Ensure presence of tags and tracking for measurement of site performance. Working with the IT team to ensure good integration into other systems.
  • Establish KPIs, tracking performance, reporting on trends and drive solutions to improve results.
  • Analyse digital content performance and reports results to stakeholders; uses learnings to improve KPIs and inform future content strategies.

Education and Experience

  • Previous experience of digital marketing is essential
  • Experience in a related marketing role that includes new product commercialisation, with working experience in downstream marketing and experience supporting a sales team.
  • Desirable skills include - Hubspot, Adobe suite, Asana, Trello, Basecamp, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Tweetdeck, Mention, Microsoft 365, InDesign.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are required with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of people and audiences.
  • Adept at adapting plans effectively for optimal impact.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence without authority, including demonstrated experience gaining senior leader perspectives and support.
  • Familiarity with complex, dynamic and competitive markets preferred.
  • This is an external-facing role, so travel will be required.
  • Ability to connect to the patient experience will be of key importance.


  • Experience creating content deployed across multiple, integrated digital communications platforms
  • Advanced writing skills, particularly when communicating complex subject matter to a wide range of audience types
  • Technical knowledge in Web and IT platforms; specific experience in editing/publishing within an enterprise CMS strongly preferred
  • Ability to work at a technical level with IT and at a commercial level with brand managers and marketing executives
  • Ability to interpret and communicate Web and Social analytics
  • Ability to inspire confidence and respect from others

  • Ability to be a self-starter and learn quickly in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
