Position Summary

This position is responsible for organizing documentation in advance of claim preparation, notifies reimbursement of missing documentation, monitors unbilled for missing documentation. Tracks documentation for completion, verifies for accuracy and completeness once returned. Monitors unbilled for tickets that are missing documentation and expedites obtaining documentation to ensure claims are billed in a timely manner. Works with Reimbursement department to resolve any intake, authorization or documentation issues.


  • Managing and performing timely intake processes.
  • Providing assistance in tracking, completing various reports and forms.
  • Creating and maintaining database for well-organized assortment and retrieval of data.
  • Participating in team meetings, handling correspondence, and responding to routine requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of reimbursement processing experience. 
  • Minimum of 2 years call center/customer service experience in the medical industry is required.
  • Knowledge of managed care industry is required.
  • Knowledge of diabetes is preferred.


  • Ability to identify and escalate issues requiring management support.
  • Ability to independently problem solve; effective multi-tasking; strong verbal and writing communications; attention to detail; excellent computer and phone skills.
  • Proven ability to efficiently manage time; ability to prioritize; ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a high level of self-motivation and flexibility; accurate attention to details.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.
  • Manual dexterity needed for using a calculator and computer keyboard.
  • Lightweight lifting may be required.
