  • Position Summary

    This position is responsible for the support of Legal Counsel in Europe in legal and compliance related matters in the European Region


    • Work across a broad range of legal and compliance topics in a fast moving corporate environment as the matters arise
    • Develop and implement amongst others
      i) template agreements for commercial transactions and 
      ii) healthcare compliance best practices and procedures, in each case in close cooperation with Legal Counsel Europe
    • Assist Legal Counsel Europe with day to day data privacy matters and review data processing agreements.
    • Act as primary point of contact for legal/compliance matters for the local Sales and Marketing team
    • Reviewing and amending a variety of commercial and clinical contracts, such as Clinical Trial Agreements, NDAs, t&c's and sales and procurement agreements
    • Liaise with internal stake holders on a daily basis, ensuring internal processes are understood, implemented and complied with
    • Coordinate the use of the contracts database
    • Participate in or represent the team in various internal meetings

    Education and Experience

    • Paralegal Qualification or Degree
    • 5 years or more in paralegal/contract manager function in the Legal Team of a multinational medical device/ pharma company or a reputable law firm.
    • Ability to take lead position regarding department administration needs and organization requirements. A positive and team oriented attitude with flexibility.
    • A self- starter with high energy and a strong sense of dedication.
    • Exceptionally organized and detail oriented.


    • Ability to prioritize assignments while working on various projects simultaneously.

    • Willingness to do a variety of tasks.


    • Work with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment.


    • Ability to prioritize and switch priorities rapidly.

    • Strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to work independently as well as in a team
    • Outgoing, comfortable interacting with diverse cultures and across a multitude of cultures and levels of an international corporation
    • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

    • Fluent English.  Ability to speak other European languages a plus: French, Dutch, German, with French as a preference.
