  • Position Summary

    Lead oversight role in billing and collections process for Insulet's European operations.  Work closely with finance leaders in a fast-growing public company to execute on billing and collections initiatives and deliver a superior customer experience.


    • Oversee third party billing service provider in the timely execution of billing and cash application operations across Europe, including but not limited to United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
    • Research and resolve customer billing queries
    • Identify opportunities to improve existing operations and work with commercial leadership for billing requirements and implementation efforts in new countries in alliance with business development initiatives
    • Analyze outstanding customer balances and coordinate customer collection efforts
    • Establish key billing and collection metrics to identify performance opportunities and to assess impact of new performance initiatives, cash forecasting and to evaluate overall financial performance in billing/collections
    • Maintain customer master data
    • Maintain quality and timeliness of internal control requirements associated with billing and collections process
    • Provide input to the monthly financial close and alert financial leadership to any gaps between budget and actual performance in regards to billing/collections, and process gaps
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Education and Experience

    • Minimum of three years related experience
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent attention to details
    • Good knowledge of accounting
    • Ability to analyze existing operational processes and recommend improvements
    • Ability to analyze large data sets
    • Strong knowledge of Excel and general knowledge of ERP systems
