  • Position Summary

    The IT Director of International Corporate and Commercial Systems is responsible for the delivery, support and maintenance of all ERP, Corporate and Commercial systems supporting Insulet’s rapidly growing International footprint.  This includes Salesforce.com in our commercial space and MS Dynamics AX ERP for Finance and Supply Chain functions.   

     

    Working in a dynamic, collaborative team environment, the successful candidate will build and lead a team that will support Insulet’s expansion with new products, new markets and new functions through business analysis and IT leadership across the entity. Specific functions include business analysis, project management, solution design, development and implementation in support of key business initiatives.

     

    The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead teams, a track record of delivering results and the ability to create an organization focused on enabling business initiatives through IT.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with Insulet Leaders in the Commercial and Corporate functions of the company such as Customer Care, Market Access, Finance and Supply Chain.
    • Responsible for the successful evaluation and delivery of the International IT Applications portfolio of projects
    • Manage an internal team of business analysts and managers as well as an extended team of consultants and or partners
    • Responsible for the current applications and platforms that support our current International business such as Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012R3, integrations with our 3PL distribution partners and our shared services finance partners, as well as future systems and programs to support our continued growth.
    • Ensure that programs are clearly defined, strategically aligned and have an effective business case/ROI.
    • Work with the executive team on annual planning cycles to ensure appropriate capacity plans are in place for program execution.
    • Provide guidance for complex business and solution challenges.
    • Mentor team members on appropriate methodology and documentation requirements, technical specifications, test plans and application designs based SDLC and AGILE principles.
    • Manage team members with respect to objective setting, performance appraisals, salary administration, development and career planning.

    Education and Experience

    • Experience running enterprise application platforms and integrations.
    • Experience running SFDC platforms is highly desirable.
    • Strong understanding of Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry practices.
    • At least 7 years of leadership experience working in a technology organization, ideally with a previous background in CRM or in a functional analyst role.
    • At least 7 years of experience supporting or working with a Commercial Organization or Call Center, preferably in the medical device, pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.
    • Previous experience managing internal and external teams.
    • Understanding of patient data privacy requirements and impacts to systems and processes
    • BS in an IT-related discipline such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.

    • Strong communication, relationship building, influencing and negotiating skills
    • Excellent writing skills. Must have the ability to express strategy, technical knowledge, and processes in easily understood presentations
    • Positive, results driven, rational, logical, team player

    Physical Requirements:

    • Up to 15% travel time may be required
