  • Position Summary

    Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for the packaging, receipt and shipment of incoming materials, supplies, and finished goods. The Warehouse Operator is also responsible for ensuring the Kitting Room & Clean Room are sufficiently stocked for production. This position also ensures shipment transactions are promptly entered into ERP System in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures and following through on all material movements in order to guarantee they are handled in accordance with applicable FDA and cGMP procedures. This role is responsible for ensuring the warehouse has proper workflow to meet the demand.   


    During the Plant start-up this position will work during the core business hours. When shifts are implemented first shift will primarily work 2:00pm-10:30pm. Business needs may necessitate the need to adjust shift start and end times.



      • Receive raw material components, verify items against the record of shipment, and label components for in-house use.
      • Gathers, verifies, and palletize items for shipment according to specifications.
      • Interact with autonomous vehicles (robots) to ensure consistent material flow to the automation machines.
      • Load and coordinate shipment of finished goods for sterilization.
      • Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
      • Pull and pack materials.
      • Manage safety requirements to minimize safety risks.
      • Communicate with freight carriers regarding daily bills of lading.
      • Prepare packaging and/or shipping documents if necessary.
      • Perform general duties including FedEx processing, cycle counts, housekeeping, stocking, safety and maintenance.
      • Store all items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, kitting room or other areas.
      • Work in a controlled environment.
      • Cleans and maintains storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. 

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED


    Preferred Skills and Competencies:

    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/AX Software or ability to learn Microsoft AX Materials Management module.
    • Proficient in business environment software applications - MS Office.
    • Minimum 1 year experience in Distribution, Receiving, or Manufacturing Support environment.
    • Must be extremely service, internal customer, and detail-oriented.
    • Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
    • Highly motivated, proactive problem solver, and a self-starter that can work both independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
    • Stand up and sit down forklift and/or motorized pallet jack operation experience is a plus.
    • Familiarity with ergonomic lifting techniques.
    • Good communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Medical device industry experience a plus.
    • Self-starter capable of dealing with a variety of tasks in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
    • Must be proficient in English language to be able to read documentation, communicate, and write.
    • Keen eye for quality, is dependable, and will work collaboratively within a team, and possess a positive attitude.
    • Experience in a start-up production environment is a plus.


    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift and transfer loads up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to safely operate electric and manual pallet jacks.
    • Must be able to stand and bend up to 8 hours a day.
    • Required to lift above shoulder frequently and below waist occasionally.
