The Senior Market Access Manager is responsible for developing strategically targeted payer engagement, relationship and account management at the country level for improved access and procurement of the Omnipod Insulin Management System. This includes implementing access strategies that establish pricing and value for successful patient access to the Omnipod system.
Efforts of this individual should focus on ensuring health care providers and patients have unimpeded access to our products and services by educating key stakeholders and influencing their medical policy decisions, their perceptions the value Insulet provides them and their patients, and our competitive position relative to alternatives. The Senior Market Access Manager is expected to earn the support of his/her customers as a trusted business advisor. Success is reflected by the key stakeholders accepting and implementing versions of the Market Access recommendations. The Senior Market Access Manager will have a deep understanding of important territory-related issues, have broad knowledge of the evolving healthcare landscape, develops detailed strategic plans which aligns with the long and short-term goals of the organization.
Oversees engineering supplier quality for the Insulet supplier base. Supports the selection, qualification, and management of external finished goods suppliers and service engineering suppliers for lnsulet. Works with manufacturers and service suppliers to ensure product / service quality meets company requirements. Interfaces with other departments (Engineering, Operations, Information Technology, and Regulatory Affairs) as well as with suppliers and other external parties on issues related to product quality. Effectively communicates Quality metrics through supplier scorecards and Management Review to the organization, suppliers, and Executive Management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing to life assembly and process equipment for the startup of new Manufacturing Operations in Acton, MA. The role will then transition to direct engineering and maintenance of equipment in Acton, MA with accountability to ensure a high level of machine uptime and minimal production scrap on complex discrete component assembly equipment.
This individual will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement of process equipment. They will also be trained and cross-trained to repair, maintain and improve the reliability of various stations including: lasers, optical gaging devices, continuity testing, inspection, etc. Maintenance technicians must be quality-conscious, aggressively self-directed, motivated team players, and willing trainers—eager to gain and share new knowledge.
Performs all aspects of billing operations to ensure timely and accurate filing of government and third party medical claims, ensures maximum reimbursement collection efforts and complies with corporate and legal regulations and procedures.
In addition, the biller performs the maintenance of the billing requirements set forth by Medicare/Medicaid carriers and the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) CMS1500 forms, including Medical Necessity.

The Plant Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for Insulet’s manufacturing line(s) responsible for producing our Personal Device Manager (PDM). This selected individual will serve as the key point of contact for manufacturing with the company’s IT and Engineering teams.
This role is responsible for supporting Insulet’s manufacturing, safety and quality processes to produce finished goods including the Personal Diabetes Manager (PDM). Processes will be executed according to approved operating procedures and documentation as appropriate for medical devices and will prioritize patient safety, personal safety and product quality. By direct involvement in Continuous Improvement and Lean methodology this role will influence the work processes and overall metrics including safety, quality, productivity and cost. This role may cross-train into related functions.
This position is responsible and accountable for achieving sales quota through profiling, targeting, needs analysis, and closing on targeted account customers consisting of Health Care Professional (Endocrinologists, CDE’s), key diabetes institutions, and managed care organizations.
- The primary responsibility of this role is to review and process clinical documentation promptly and accurately to ensure proper reimbursement from contracted payors. The Intake Specialist will utilize this clinical documentation to perform benefit investigations as well as prior authorizations with our contracted payors. This role will work with all department functions and must have a thorough understanding of the reimbursement process, clinical guidelines and medical policies.
- The Intake Specialist is able to independently follow standardized workflows as defined by management. This is a skilled position that requires customer service and/or healthcare reimbursement experience and the ability to apply acquired skills to ensure the insurance claim is processed correctly and the company is able to successfully collect. The Intake Specialist will be expected to work on a broad range of tasks including some more complex situations.
The Inside Sales - OmniPod Associate role is responsible for all patient communication during the sales process of starting patients on the OmniPod system. This role works closely and collaborates with the field sales and internal team members to provide the best patient experience possible. This role is responsible for communicating insurance benefit guidelines and cost share information with patients and assists them with their decisions regarding insulin pump therapy.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a key cross-functional role with internal and external stakeholders and the ability to learn complex technical material (healthcare/diabetes preferred), and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position requires a high degree of customer interaction and communication to ensure the patient experience is positive and professional while consistently focusing on closing the sale.
The Intake Quality Specialist position is responsible for performing and tracking the quality performance of the team. The Intake Quality Specialist is responsible for reporting out the performance and required outcomes as well as actively monitoring data and documentation quality. The Intake Quality Specialist is expected to run quality metrics to ensure quality goals are being met and will work closely with the manager to ensure that processes are updated as appropriate. This position will be responsible for compiling and summarizing these metrics for the management team on a regular basis.
Insulet Corporation is currently creating additional capacity to manufacture their Omnipod and drug delivery pumps. To create this increased capacity new lines have been been installed in Acton MA that will be comprised of multiple Islands of Automation per line. The line will fully automate all transformations, assembly processes, WIP handling and on-line quality checks to produce the Omnipod product.
To support bringing these discrete component assembly lines to life and sustain manufacturing, comprehensive support and improvements of all the PLC, HMI, AIV (Autonomous Intelligent Vehicle), robotic and vision software is necessary. Some development, assembly and validation of measurement circuitry for connection to PLCs and test systems is also necessary to provide control signals to and from automation components.
The successful coop will support lead electrical engineers in the support and improvement of manufacturing lines.
Support and improvement will include the following:
- logic to sequence the operation of the equipment
- motion control to move mechanisms with servo motors, VFDs, and robots
- user interface features to allow operations and manufacturing to view the equipment function and performance
- inspection logic to check and measure the product components at various stages of assembly
- data collection of equipment performance and product process variables, this may include data mining of information
- AIV support, troubleshooting and improvement of present system
Also required is collaboration with the mechanical engineering team during mechanical design reviews and equipment build inspections.
The Clinical Services Manager (CSM) will work in conjunction with the Territory Manager, Customer Care team and Market Access team in order to meet the commercial and clinical needs in their territory for the purpose of increasing referrals and sustaining patients on product.
Insulet is a fast-paced medical device company, in the greater Boston area, that designs, manufactures and distributes body-worn patch pump technology to the diabetes-care and pharma industries. We are looking for a self-motivated Principal Chemist to join the R&D team that will be responsible for ensuring materials used in new and current products are safe to the patient and efficacious for the prescribed therapy.
This position will be integral in determining the design of disposable, class II/III medical devices and will be required to ensure our products are in compliance with ISO and USP standards. The Principal Chemist will need to actively interface with third party laboratories and develop/ execute internal testing protocols using GC/MS and FTIR test equipment. This position will work closely with multiple R&D teams, Operations and QA/RA to ensure products are adequately tested, results are documented and communicated in accordance to company procedures and 21 CFR Part 820. The candidate must have a strong analytical chemistry and drug compatibility background with the ability to quickly assess products and provide detailed chemical characterization. Along with these responsibilities, this position will lead Insulet in determining our analytical chemistry and drug compatibility needs and capabilities.
The optimum candidate has a Ph.D. in Chemistry and has at least 10 years of experience in Product Research and Development or Quality in the Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device industry.
The Position will report to the Mechanical / Materials / DV Test COE at Insulet’s Headquarters in Acton, MA.
The Sr. Systems Engineer will be a technical lead in the design and development of Insulet’s products. This position entails leading systems engineering activities and working cross functionally within new product development projects. Education and work experience should encompass a vast array of engineering disciplines to include, software, communications, electrical, mechanical, and materials.
The position will report to the Sr. Manager of Systems Engineering Programs, located at Insulet’s Headquarters in Acton, Massachusetts.
- The Specialist will work under the guidance of the Supplier Quality Manager to manage the Supplier on-boarding, Approved Supplier List (ASL) and the Supplier Communication Request (SCR) processes.

The Product Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for defining and delivering cyber security engineering services in support of Insulet’s Medical Device Products. This Engineer drives the continuous maturity of Insulet’s Medical Device Cyber Security program through the implementation of a Secure Software Development Lifecycle (S-SDLC) program that enables continuous identification and remediation of potential threats and risks in source code and application architectures.
Insulet is looking for a self-motivated Senior Software Automation Engineer, to be a part of the software team to assist with product development and product modifications for the Research and Development group. This position will be primarily responsible for building the software test automation framework. This position will also be developing automated tests, in conjunction with the software development efforts. This position will also be involved in designing, developing, testing and documenting embedded system software for new and existing Insulet products.
